Finished my NVQ. Well sort of, I've done all they asked me to, there might be a few more bits and pieces to add later. But I've finished most of it now, with about half of it being done in the last three days.
But my god. What a completely ridiculous qualification. An absurd waste of time. Every question is nonsense. I've learned absolutely nothing. Just spent hours and hours doing the most stupid little tasks so that I can tick boxes.
Don't ever do one. Go and read a book or something. Better yet, get a qualification that may one day prove to be of some use to you. That is my advice for the day.

- Hello. My name is Will. I currently live in Preston in the North-West of England. I have decided to spend my life chasing a career in Psychology. I am currently working as a Primary Care Mental Health Worker, providing therapy to people with mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. I'll probably complain about being overworked and underpaid, but I rather like it. Most of my time is spent either working, studying or playing around with music. At the moment my tastes are lying with acoustic folk indie type stuff. This is the kind of music I would like to make. However my tastes are fairly varied. In terms of listening, I enjoy indie type things, acoustic guitars, dancey electro and clever pop. I'm currently undergoing a period of transition in my life. I'm trying to find out how to grow up whilst at the same time desperately avoiding it. I have become inspired to change the things about myself I don't like. I would like to teach myself to have the confidence to do the things I want to do. This may be what this blog details. It may not. We will see what happens.
